Grip/Uphill

ON one of the drift sites they say one drivers style is "grip" and anothers style is "uphill". What does that mean?

instead of going downhill or drifting flat streets, the driver likes to drive uphill

Most of the hill guys here drift it up and grip it down that only being because you need some marbles to drift down some of the hills here.

Uphill = power, downhill = braking. Its harder to get the second part down hehehe.
