Drifting in San Diego, CA area

Hello All-

I am doing a project on the "culture" and community of drifting. I am an amateur road racer and have been around cars all of my life so I am intrigued by drifting. My project is based around how and why people are involved with drifting. I was wondering if there are any formal or informal events planned in the greater San Diego area in the month of November. Also, are there any known drifting clubs that I may be able to contact to ask questions in the San Diego area?

Amatuer drifters meet regularly at FUZION CAFE.

It's located @ Clairemont Blvd east (right across Cheetahs strip joint).

We usually meet around 7pm every tuesday. We're a small group, so we tag along with the EURO meet and SUBARU meet at the same location and time.

We regularly meet at the time and location, just to hang out and talk about cars, drifting and r. There's no illegal activity at our meets. Cops usually hangs out try to ask us question, but they know our intensions are good.

Also, if you do come, and someone else are interested of meeting.
DO NOT PEEL OUT while leaving the location because WE DO NOT NEED THAT KIND OF CRAP.

for you young guys it is a old airstrip the used to race scca on now it is open for club use we have some plans coming up

Chris, did someone buy HOLTVILLE?
I though the previous owner was selling it, and he doesn't want to maintain it anymore, that's was it was closed down?
