Have to agree, now I think there is enough demand for a place like this, more than likely in Cali, but nobody except a few of the pro drivers have money to run thier cars enough to keep a place like that in business. Affording tires, and affording fixing your car etc.. is a lot of money, plus I would rather not see some sort of track that is babied and made easy/not dangerous, and at this point some people are still afraid to go balls out on actual tracks with walls and whatnot.
Although there is atrack (Blackhawk Farsm I think) who are considering making a drift track. The easiest way to afford a drift track, is make a go-kart track. Now we of ClubFR will be hopefully running on 3 different go-kart tracks this year. When I say go karts I mean shifter carts, they are just big enough for cars (some are more than big enough), but then I guess the only problem is that our drifting scene is becoming too high speed and go-kart tracks are mainly 2nd gear.
