Hashiriya was a great rip-off of Grip Video. I mean the segments were almost identical...but I guess copying is the most sincere form of flattery. Option has nothing to do with any of what we're discussing...neither does drag, rally, cannonball or tv deals for that matter. I don't hate on Teck because of how many videos they sold..that's just retarded...in fact I still don't understand how they even sold that many since the product seems sub-par (no offense)...I think it was a timing issue. We could care less what the DTM guys say. They like to all compare how big each others wallets are..we compare angle and skill, but we have fun doing it. They can talk trash all they want, we could drive circles around them...literally. Drifting is not just an "element"..to many of us it's a way of life that we hold dear to. It's fun, so we like to do it. Oh and one more thing..."Americans with some insane cars" does not = good drifting...it means gaijin's with gohan cars. If you want some real opinions on the car with items that should be changed..then let me know. I'd hate to see your $$$$ going to waste. This isn't me being an @ss..I'm being serious. I mean if you're going to build it, I'd like to see it built right.Comment

Teckademics is a company that founds itself on home footage from ricer idiots doing illegal races on crowded highways. I don't wanna see them try and "get sideways" with their new drift car. They'll just crash when the try to do a donut in the middle of the street. Or maybe they'll take it on a "drift mission".Comment

So I suppose this is being directed towards me now? I'm a clown...I can't remember putting a red nose on this morning or recall inventing drifting...maybe you have me confused with someone else. I even offered my assistance to you...genuinely. Way to go *thumbs up* ...and you and your huge company now look great for making sly remarks...bravo again! I was mearly carrying on a conversation which someone took a little too seriously..it's the internet for God's sake relax. These people on this forum have respect for those little companies..so if you're here to gain fans..you may have just lost many potential ones. I speak my words in truth and without scornfulness. I'm not here to knock you down or contest you...like I said, I TRIED to help you. That's good that you vouched for Grip...all I stated from the start is that too many people come on here showing a pretty car that just goes to shows. From what was stated by su_maverick he is now learning to drift and practicing hard..that's good to hear. I hate to see a car built towards drifting yet never sees the pavement. I think you'd agree with me there. People then got excited and started this little arguement. I love other motorsports as well and have competed in them too. This forum is drifting.com so I keep my comments and posts focused towards it...that's all. I hope none of you are getting upset at me, it would be silly to. Boo- you make a point on there are some things that are not needed for a drift car but this car was not created soley for drifting. It is his personal car and he has the right to do to it whatever he wants to. Even if it has parts that arent needed for drifting, does not mean it isnt capable of doing such.
Everyone needs to stop generalizing and focus on facts. If you dont like Teckademics then dont buy the videos but dont go spouting off because of your perception of a video and base his driving skills on that.Comment
