          eventhough it is only a limited run, it is a rush and a buzz to know that they actually brought the GTR34 back for 2005. it is just so cool. i am speechless. there is a god.

            Yeah, pretty cool car, I think the engine is basically a revival of Renik's stroked RBX in the Nismo 400R, except delimited further. IIRC Nismo bought back 25 low-milage (eg just a couple of hundred miles) totally clean and perfect R34 V-specs, then rebuilt them from the ground up. Looks like the RB26DETT N1 won't be the last RB built (although the last factory motor), although I'm not sure how much of the RB Z2 is actually new...

            BTW, that bottom pic is an R34 S-Tune engine, or at least has the head from one.
