It doesn't have to be turbo to be fast, with proper engineering it may have better response by neing NA. I've seen somewhere that they were talking about giving it something like 380hp.

So what if the styling isn't as classic as the other Supras - give it a year or two and they'll fix it to be in the consumers' liking. Subaru "fixed" the WRX (even though I like the round lights MUCH better than the Mazda-style lamps they use now).

Just be happy that it's back.

I sorta like it...looks very similar to the old one...don't car so much for all of the body lines though...kinda BMW roadster-ish. Don't care much for the headlights though. I saw some of the other concepts and I liked the other headlight designs better. I think it'll be a sweet car once it's released...definitely out of my price range though.

in the new supra they are planning on using EITHER a new v-8(some articals on this) and a high HP v-6 to out power and drive the 350z.. Turbos i seriuosly doubt, because of the tight emmissions and cost and reliability, i think there going N/A high HP. And the gentlemen agreement about no advertised HP of 300 in japan wil be gone i think. Go do ur reasearch and prove me wrong cuz i wana know the truht like the rest of you.**Cmon new toyota**

looks nice from rear and sides. front end is hideous though. Man some concepts look like utter crap in the beginning. Maybe they'lll use the tundra v8 with different plastic covers.

Guys the front end is based on the GT2000 from back in the day like some time in 75 and up I think? Anyway thats why the front end is like that but I'm sure it wont be like that!!!
At lest I hope not? S h i t I didint even like the MK4s front end! Wish thay went back to pop up lites like the MK2 and MK3 And as far as V-6 or I-6 I dont know but I hope thay stay with the History of the Supra and stay I-6!!!

I think the 2000GT was first made in something like '69 or '70 - around the same time as the first Z car. And I agree on the I-6 thing. They need more cars with those. I'm sure engineers can come up with a well-balanced car with an I-6 . It seems like they could do more "thinking outside the box" and come up with an ingenious balanced design for the new Supra.

Yeah, it kinda does have some "Z4" styling to it. I've been seeing a lot of Supra concept pics in japanese mags, this is one of the better ones. Being a Toyota fan, I hope toyota comes out with something, if not the Supra, they've been pretty uptight and conservative about their new cars for years with nothing that special coming out lately. eh, blame the economy, haha. also, ever since news broke out about Nissan bumping back the Gt-R to 2007-ish, I've been really wanting a monster performance car coming out of Japan ASAP. HSC/NSX is cool, but my heart's with Toyota. Anyone know about any new Toyotas debuting at the La auto show?

I dont think it looks that bad personaly ive seen worce working for GM seeing there concepts make me wana puke. i just dont like the front clip on the new supra but the rest i could deal with
