I don't mean to be an arse but it was produced by nissan in the 90's. There were only a small number of them produced that is why factory produed Sileighties are rare.

You are completely right about that. If you do not want to believe me I don't blame you on account of many people speak from 'word of the mouth'. I was just trying to help out the people who might not know and might want to know. If you are unwilling to take into consideration that the slightest possiblity that Nissan might have produced very few authenic factory sil-eighties, and not believe me, I guess that is your problem.

FYI most people don't refer to Initial D as a source.

chrome...wtf. i mean seriously, how can such a large group of people be so damned attracted to shiny objects. im not referring to a specific group of people and being very racist, i mean ANYONE THAT LIKES CHROME.

there were tests conducted with monkeys where there was a box with a shiny object in it, but only enough room for an open hand to squeeze in and out. when and if a monkey made a fist and grasped the object, then it wouldnt be able to get its hand out. now monkeys arent stupid, they of course are considered by most to be the smartest animals other than humans, however when they grabbed and couldnt get their hands out, the just got violent and angry and did NOT give up. they would let go, but only to reach back in and try and try again. they couldnt imagine any other way to get it out, just kept up with that approach.

moral of the story: either chrome makes you stupid or youre stupid if you like chrome.

              just my angry rant. kthanks.

poor thing, but aparently thats wots surpose to be "cool" for aussies, -_-" when they get a car (any car), they will put on a 3 inch exhaust tip and 17" or 18" chromies, and the body kit that most of us will consider the ugliest, then suddenly they think they are the "coolest" around...... then the rich ones will also get air filters and sum stupid air brush, just like for that poor sil 80.....

and if u think u need a minute of silence for thic car, then u proly need abt a year for all the cars destroyd by aussies.....

DAMN YOU!!!! Beat me to it!! Hahahahaha. OH man, the old "Nissan built sileighties" belief! That hasn't been around for at least 2 years. Leave it to good ole' drifting.com members to be the only ones still in this galaxy that believe so...

So, Kid's Heart made the Sil-Eighty for Nissan Dealerships to be sold at the Nissan Dealerships. All the while, Nissan OKed this. Got it.

So they where kind of like a special option only Nissan wouldn't do it. Someone else did it. So Nissan never made it....

yeah i thought it did look kinda funny, i think its how the body curves around the lights

The Sil80 was definately sold in Japan. Had 180sx with S13 lights, with new body styling, kouki rear lights, 16 spoke wheels, rear spoiler, and SILEIGHTY markers on the windows and rear

and of course, when in doubt check if they got models of it

Yo buddy, try reading the posts first. A couple posts above you, it explains Kid's Heart and how they made about 500 of these and sold them at their dealerships. Nissan... allowed it, but they never made them, or sold them directly...
