  • New Paint *pics*

    This is how the story goes, i was going to paint my car a powder/light blue and was priming it and sanding it all the time. Then i got to the point where i said to myself ( im going to mark it up so i might as well go cheap) Then i decided to go with white so it could be easy to patch. Then my friend gave me 4 cans of flat black and 3 of gloss black. At that point i gave up the white idea and just went flat black.

    ah yes, this brings back memories...

    doesn't look too bad, a quick wetsand after or in between coats my help "even" it up a little bit.

              llooks alot better than before, nice job


              you might want to try and wet sand it a little bit, it looks like carpet right now lol. but dont get me wrong i lik eit

                Thanks for all the positive comments, it makes me feel really good about it. I plan on attacking it tomorrow with 320 wet and then maybe shoot another coat on a few spots.

                BTW, near the center of the hood, left fender and roof are unpainted cuz i ran out of paint lol, so that might explain patchyness

                  i'd steer clear from masking-taping a logo on the side of the car too... while you're wet sanding, sand around the DRFT and paint over that ish.
