Thanks for the comments. I truely think that the ls1 is the best bang for the buck. It is also very reliable.

I think a ls1 in a cressida, sc300, supra, or is300 would perform very well.

          tahts hot.

and yes ls1 is great, all aluminum, huge power gains possible, 300+rwhp out of the box you can pick up the whole swap for @ 3k, the whole swap. just fab some mounts and driveshaft and holla back you in action guuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrlllllllllllll

          seriously, ls1 greater than star.

Are you still going to be driving the el camino in 06?

Looks like its much easier to kick it out with the lower powerband vice the high powerband rotary setup. Sounds sweet, nice chokudori's. Have you tried the staging brake yet? How does it feel?

no, if you know any good teams looking for drivers let me know, i might need a couple backup plans.

that is bad to the a$$

is the staging brakes easier to use than
                      in its stock form?

Yo Frank. The staging brakes performance is dependant on your rear brake pads condition. But overall it is about 40-60% easier to lock up then the cable stock ebrake.

                            I have no idea.

In the video the car is running on only 7 cyl.
