  • Back From The Irwindale Wall

Alot of time and a couple of $$ beginning from 8/30/05 - 12/1/05 got thrown into the white NM Drift car. Finally she is back and playable. Thanks to everyone who helped me get the car back and to Milano and Chris from Modified for putting their time into it. These are some Camera Phone pics with the photos from a real camera coming asap. Thanks Again.

      Thanks!!

The wall is a distant memory after the Drift Buffett on Halloween. I got to remove that bug from my head so I could move on. 1st run was a rush though.

Came off the oval low, clipped the 2nd apex at an angle much shallower than normally done, realized the wall was coming and tried to throw the car by the wall, ended up clipping the wall with the rear end, caught the car in full drift and turned the car into the wall with the rf wheel heading straight up the wall. Ended up dtiving up the k-rail and turned her over.

Hardest part was the rear impact and the roll seemed very slow.

Roll bars that portrude into the driverside door ended up supporting the car on it's side. Keeping me away from the ground.

The roll cage goes behind the rear stut towers and made a big differance in being able to bring the car back. The cage in the car is also the biggest reason we brought the car back.

It was very similar to taka's crash just a day earlier, and ended up on the door not a full roll.

Oh yea and Gary did it right. He didn't lift.

The car gets hotter everything it hits things.

same bumper as before, sorry for not having it on the car. I am going out to the track today and we are going to shoot some pics with the new wheels and bumper. If you check the website, the bumper is the same one we had before the wreck.
