  • FORMULA D PUERTO RICO (PHOTOS)

This last weekend 4 top FD pilots made their way to the Carribean for an exhibition and the first time drifting has ever been seen live in the Carribean. Casper Canul, Ben Schwartz, Chris Forsberg and 2006 FD Judge Alex Pfieffer made the trek to the Furious Wheelz Drift and Drag Edition event at Carolina Speedway near San Juan Puerto Rico. 15,000 people over 3 days witnessed some of the best demo's I hyave seen yet. Ther PR corwd is one of the most fanatical I have ever seen and people literally ran to the track when they heard the motos start. The boys were joined by mechanic master Gary Castillo and the FD crew for a trip that will be engrain in our minds and the minds of the people of Puerto Rico for years to come.

    Here are some photos:

              Wow!

              Where should i start!?

Puerto Rico or "Pwelto Lico" was an incredible event. The atmosphere was very special. The fans were definatley feeling the "Fiebre" or Fever of drifting. I'm very happy to have been apart of something historical. It's sort of like when the first Ikaten came here to Irwindale....except this was 20 times better. Being on what is known as the Island of Enchantment or "Isla del Encanto" was true in every sense of the way.

Famma Events...Thank you for all your hospitality! For all your track support and For all the Fun! ........and for all the Medalla!

For all us back here in the States........Puerto Rico Fans are true gear heads. They have drag racing everyday of the week on differents parts of the island. On any given weekday or weekday you will see 7-9 second cars doing sick passes down the strip. There's even a dyno at these events that can tune your car for like 20bucks or something.....I had my car up there being tuned too!!!!

Above all else....Thank you Red Star Motoring for being my Pit Crew, for replacing my turbo, changing out my tires (Gomas), rewiring my fuel pump, tuning my A/F, taking me out to all the "Hot Girlie" spots, and for everything else.....Thank you Pepo!!!! Your the Best!

              Viva Todo Puerto Rico!

It was a great experience having in Puerto Rico the Formula D event along with Ryan, ODP, Richard, John, Gary, Casper Canul, Ben Schwartz, Chris Forsberg and 2006 FD Judge Alex Pfieffer.
And being part of drifting history in Puerto Rico was definitively amazing. It was our very first Formula D visit to the island and we really enjoyed it.
Hope you are all back soon.
