Hey guys, here is a video that my friend threw together of me drifting. This is mostly old footage of some street/oval track drifting.

      Very nice!

If you dont mind me asking, what is your wheel/tire setup?

Also, which techniques are you using throughout the video?

      Thanks.

Um, on the front I always have my 17's. They are enkie rs5's 17 x 7(i think). The tires are whatever I can find for free as long as they are low profile enough to not rub and have decent tread. Then on the back I always have the stock s14 15 inch teardrop wheels. Tires for the back are always used whatever I can find.

As far as techniques in that video, most of it is e-brake because I see e-brake as the safest form of initiation. But there is also some feint/power over in the parts where I am on the banked oval track. I do enjoy every type of technique as long as it's on a track or a big open area. But I have to say for street drifting, e-brake is my favorite simply because it's easy and predictable and I don't want to wreck. I'm out to have fun and not to show of my skills to others by trying different/ harder techniques. I have heard many stories of others street drifting with feint, brake drifting, etc. While all of those work, they are all harder to do ( and some require your car to be set up correctly) and can result in some bad understeer if done improperly. That's why I love e-brake (no understeer and it works every time no matter how stock the car is). And if I didn't have a stock ka I would probably be doing a lot of power over.
