DTM vs JDM

who do u think makes better performance cars, Germany vs. Japan and why.
what about better drifting cars.


I would say German cars are faster and they probably have better handling.

What do u guys think and why ?

i dont know about "better cars" but im partial to nissans, especialy the S13s, light weight rear wheel drive. 2 liter turbos. and even the us versions the 2.4 liter NAs.

to me thats my idea of a good sports car. light weight quick, handles well. and cheap to me a sports car has to be cheap.

umm performace cars?

well in terms to drifting... i think bang for buck japanese cars are much better... for example... you can get a nice 240 for a couple Grand.... also there's a bigger aftermarket for japanese cars (easier to find parts).. but im not saying there isnt a aftermarket for german cars...

when it comes to pure performance... both countries put out very competitive cars (if money isnt a factor)... so i think its just how u look at it

btw... i'd go for a german car if i wanted luxury...

i agree but german cars aint only luxry they got speed too. Look at a M3, audi S4, AMG, Porsche luxury but fast

it all depends where youre from, in Europe eurocars are cheaper and in japan and the US jap cars a re cheaper...

Thats not true. Jap cars are in general cheaper here to...

The Sierra Cosworth (2:nd pic) came both as rwd and 4wd. The Escort Cosworth (1:st pic) came only as 4wd.

This is a GRAY area.
AMG / M3 / NISMO / RALLYART / TRD / MAZDASPEED / RUF, etc.

are all competative manufacturers. This R&D's are neck to neck as far as performance to their individual fields.

The difference between all of them is the DRIVER.
