Not to much. First you have to play around with the suspension upper and lower limits to get the tires in the right spot. Usually when you replace a car the wheels will be too high or to low causeing the car to flip or drag on the ground when cornering. Use very little suspension force(alot like rebound), no more then 1.5. The traction multipler and steering lock affects the drift the most . Just leave these stock to start with and see how it handles. If you get understeer increase the steering lock. You can't drift when the tires want to grip so keep traction low around 1.0. Also I think 4 wheel drive works best in this game cause The contols are too absolute, You are either giving it full throttle or no throttle, Either turning to the steering lock or not turning at all. This is definitly more of an arcade style drift. other then that just play around with it. I could send ya my handleing.cfg file but that might cause glitchs cause we'd be using different cars. Also if you mod any game back up whatever you change cause this stuff can cause the game to crash. Try to only make one or two changes then check if they worked so you know whats causeing any problems.

they usually come with readme files that explain how to do it. Though some explain it less then others. Just download of a bunch of'em one will have a good explaination how to do it. I would explain it but theres stuff you have to download to do it and I don't have the links to the downloads

ok i have the programs to install them but with the IMG tool whei try to replace the file it says it cant because the file is to big. how did u get it to replace

yes u can do the same thing with GTA 3 now can some1 help me. why cant i replace the file. when i try to replace it (this is wut im doing, i openIMG tools and go to file open and i open GTA under models when it comes up i go to sort by name and then i scroll down to sabature (or how ever its spelled) and i right click and hit replace and i find the file i want to replace it with and it comes up and gives me a messaage that says file is to big or .........exiting) what am i doing wrong?

just delete the old one and add the new one. Remeber to back up whatever you change.
