I did not do anything to the engine, its a Mach .26 CI engine with 3 hp. I decided to buy this engine for 129 versus a hi-performance .12 engine for 200 bucks.

Nice RC. I'd never put a body like that on mine though. She'd be toast pretty quick, lol, especially that wing, although it looks nice on it. It looks like to spent a little time on that body, show only or do you actually use it too?

Those custom headlights? If not, what brand is it?

Rx7Ryder, how much does that thing weigh? What's the motor originially designed for? .21's are big blocks in the RC world, that .26 has got to be a decent size, quite large for an RC...well maybe ok if you're running it in the Super HPI, still big. Was it tough to squeeze in there or did you have enough room to start with?

I've got an electric TC3 I've had for a couple years. I should really start to play with drifting in it, well other than during winter anyways, lol. How long does the PVC pipe last? Anyone try metal? Sparkies, lol.

I am sure it can go much faster, its just limited by gearing.
The mach .26 has 2.75 said horse power its more like 2.100hp
Tight fit in a super nitro since they have the slim chassis .

Lemme take some pics of my collection of cars. I have 2 yokomo drifters,2 ttl-101 5 other nitro cars and trucks.

I need to buy me some yokomo replacement bodys . I especialy need the 180sx and the s15

My Mugen with concept .12 turbo does around 90ish but if i wind it out more it would hit 100mph easily.

The only thing that is stupid about a .26 in a onroad is that the big block .21-.46's are meant for monster trucks and buggys. They produce a large amount of torqe and arent ment for speed .

My rb .12 produces 2.478hp (dynoed amount too) and its a .12 small block.

Now about my FG racer..... Thats a whole other story 48cc gasoline powered tecumseh 3.9hp ported engine. . Its 1/5 scale . Wich means its big.... its about 3 1/2 feet long and weighs quite a bit. But the large snappy engine makes up for it with a top speed a 74mph . Its pretty sick .

I'm leaving for the shop so i can take pictures of them .I will make my own thread and post em up.

                        *god i feel like a n00b on drifting.com lol

Bull $hit! Hahaha!!!! RB Concepts kick *Censored**Censored**Censored* but 2.4hp out of a .12, are you on crack?

And 90 mph! More bull! Do you want to see what a car that can do 100 mph looks like?

Scroll down to the very last video and download it. Post a video of you Mugen going 90 or go lie somewhere lelse.

Also, where did you get your HP rating? Considering RB concepts doesnt rate the hp on their engines..

Have a nice day and nice try

I typed a completely wrong set of numbers. It was "supposed" to be 1.850hp I guess thats what i get for posting on 9 forums at the same time. My bad.

On the next issue. A ported concept engine NOT RB Concepts is a highly modified .12 engine. Along with the engine i'm running a Jag R/C nitrous oxide kit. With modified gearing it's easy to hit 90mph . Don't try to accuse me of lying i know my stuff .

Like omg 100mph isnt fast for a moddy car anymore. Theres a micro rs4 that hits 133mph with a small turn brushelss motor.
A Yokomoa GT-4 rtr on-road racer hits 65mph out of the box completely stock .

Post a video Shure , if i had a digital camcorder. Buy me one and send it to me and i will :P

Nice try bud , have a nice day.

i had an uncle that made a drag rc car with two 4 hp rc plane motors cogged to one posi driveshaft on a 5 ft long frame. the motors were in the middle side by side. if i remember correct it went over 150 and did the 1/4 in around 4 or 5 seconds. with its slicks. i remember him holding it down with his foot and flooring it to warm up these mini slicks
                              it was insane.
2 weeks later it lost control and hit a wall face on at top speed and desintegrated
im not sure how he kept the motors at the same speed or anything like that but it was awesome
