In US dollars I suppose it'll be around $6600 with a blown engine. The deal is not 100% done yet though, so I'll know more in a few days...

Nah, my foot work is very boring. We had to cut it out of the vid as I hardly move my feet at all. All these videos of the jap guys just make me laugh. Basically, if you nail the corner correctly, there's no need to dance like a maniac on the pedals. As I come from a racing background I've always focused on being as smooth as possible, and I still am. So I brake, throw the car sideways and adjust the angle with the throttle. That's it...

As for the red light, that's an oil pressure warning lamp. The tach is mounted on the dash

And if I make it to the US, I will definately announce it big time

A reverse drift is when you shift the direction of the car mid-drift to pass through two opposing corners.

Pretty amazing drifting! If you ever get out to the east coast come to a East Coast Drifters event, Ben who started it has a nice ae86. What kind of car are you thinking about for your next project?

If you're gonna aim to make it into D1, I'd suggest start with a longer wheel-base car such as a Silvia or 240 or whatever you guys have there. They can hold drifts longer which is what the d1 judges seem to be looking for these days

                                OT!

long drifts... Hmmmm how about 3-400 meter reverse drift in fourth gear with an STOCK AE86 with 125hp
                                with smoking tires.

is that good enough for you ?

                                :-)
