The bandana actually do serve a purpose (besides trying to look as cool as Ueo of course...). It hides the ugly, yellow, snap-off mechanism
And thanks for keeping my vid hot, guys. I hope it stays hot until I'm back in the scene. 2005 will be a year of racing for me, not drifting. I don't have the car anymore, and will probably not be able to get a new one until 2006. So for now, this is all I have for you guys.
BTW, the car is actually for sale again: http://www.motorsportavisen.no/WEBSh...borsen%202.htm

I'm so thrilled by the response this vid has got all over the world. After all, it's more or less my only contribution to the drift scene. When I had to sell the car I felt really bad. Who knows when I can buy a proper drift car again. I really want to drift with the best, but there's just no way to make it happen.
But it's a nice comfort to know that a lot of people have seen this video, and like it as much as they do. Of course there have been a few negative comments as well, but they're easy to explain really.
First of all a few guys have stated that I should have more angle. But if you look at the camera angles behind the front wheel, you will see that it doesn't turn anymore. The car had a rally style steering rack with a short ratio. In fact it has even less lock than a stock rack...
Some say the car look ugly. I agree
And some commented on the indicator flashing, suggesting that i used too much uncontrolled arm movement. Well, just look at the inboard clips. Does I look like I'm working very hard? Hell, I'm a lazy bastard. The fact is that the indicator switch was broken, and the indicator switched itself on and off every time I hit a bump or a curb
And the wheels are not the same during the whole vid. Not because we had to try many times to get it right, but because we had to do several runs to allow us all the camera angles. We only had one bullet cam and two steady cams. So I wasn't messing it up all the time. Rather the opposite, I had to drive perfect all the time to make it possible to edit the clips together
I think we have four or five hours of tape in total from this day
And in half the vid I had no brakes nor handbrake as the rear disc came loose. All inertia drifts and shift-lock
Just some facts to make myself look even better
Merry christmas everyone.

PS. Not sure why it says Bimingham Wheels UK in the title, as the video is shot in Norway. Birmingham Wheels is another vid...Last edited by fsr; 12-23-2004, 07:24 AM.
