Holden may be australian but this design was definately made for the US market.

I think it looks pretty good. Looks mean enough, I guess. Those apear to be brake cooling ducts, not purely cosmetic.

            I'd rock it...with a blower.

the only aspects of it that are american in terms of design is the grill (stock)

this car has been around here for ages, we got much better stuff any way, like the clubsport or ford GTP, then again i aint a holden fan, nor ford, just letting u know, the Monaro/GTO aint realy the best we got to offer

I love it. I wonder if they did any power upgrades.

                          GTO

Ill take the one thats already in the states.
Ive got to look a few over closely and they are impressive. The
thing about the LS engines are the fuel injectors. They WILL clog up in under 20k miles if you do not run only premium grade fuel and run cleaner through it regularly. My auto teacher got a visit from a former student thats now a master tech for a chevy/pontiac dealership. He had a customer with a vette that had an ls7 in it. The guy ran regular and plus unleaded with a GM reccommended cleaner monthly and it clogged up at around 16k. The tech took the injectors and removed them and hand cleaned them but it was no good. The pencil valves got glazed and scratched up from the friction and were ruined. 8 fuel injectors $4800 not including labor to install. The LS1 is a little better for parts cost but not by much. Id still get a GTO american or australian if I could. Cool cars with all the right stuff for drifting stock.

                          .....my 2 cents...

personally, it looks like a GTO with a shaved body kit. But if thats really a concept, if it gets into production, they seal the deal as the only American manufacturer I'd respect (not that the GTO has already done that)

I have read in several places that the 05 was redesigned to make it more sutable for the american market.

wow, looks like american designs are takin note of japanese designs such as the huge fenders (Skyline?) for the wheel wells on that thing. also, im not sure what came first, but i think the impala tail lights are also a variant from the skylines tail lights (or Corvette, unless they too got the idea from nissan or vice versa). And the most convincing correlation if the Pontiac Grand Prix and it's likeness as a Nissan Silvia S15 sedan variant.
