hi i am brand new to this forum as well as nissans, mostly.

im looking into starting a 240 s13 project. just trying to get familiar with the ins and outs. one questing i have for now is why do all the s13 conversions have the projector headlights? which model came with the non projector style? where can i get them?

the 240s aka silvia in japan is where ther from. to convert to need the lights, hood, fenders and bumper.
you can also do the s14 and s15 front end but the s14 is not as common

Check anyone who supplies converisons and ask them if they have it. Its not like a super market deal. Some will have it some won't. Don't be so silly with your questions.

The halogen reflector "square" or "rectangular" headlights came on the earlier Silvias, from 1988.5 to 1991. These Silvias are the Zenki from 1988.5-1990 and the '91 cars are the earliest Chouki S13s.

I was offered a guy's Zenki/early Chouki headlights plus $100 for my later Chouki dual projector/halogen reflector fog headlights, but rejected it after he complained about their lack of power. Apparently, the rectangular headlights are not that bright and need a bulb change to be effective at speed. My dual projectors are bright and appear to be almost white.

I'm sure there are plenty of Zenki/early Chouki lights out there to suit your purpose.

You usually pay top dollar for these headlights. They are more rare than the triple projector headlights.
