whats is a good car for my first car.....i can get a 88 civic hatch for about 800 but im still thinkin of getin something else...

For future reference, please use search and check FAQ's. To answer your question, an 88 civic hatch is a good car to use to drive. I have no idea what you intend to use it for however, so you may need to be more descriptive. As far as a winter beater or daily driven car that you need in case your racing/street car breaks, it would be fine.
