  • Help with my '89 240sx

Whats up. I have an 89 nissan 240sx. I just purchased it from an individual about 1 1/2 months ago. The only problem with it is that the guy that I bought it from had an accident with it before i bought it, he ran off into a ditch. He messed up the fender pretty bad (needs replacing) and also the door and quarter panel. I am supposed to get all of that fixed and painted this week, but I just wanted to get some ideas on what i should do to it first, projectwise. Keep in mind that i am on a low budget . I think that i should get a cat back system first, magnaflow preferably, but i dont know. any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

first i would recomend saving your money for tires and a drift event. i wouldnt fix your fender or bumper yet because you will crash again if you are serious about drifting.

then when you feel you are ready get springs/strut combo. rsr race springs and kyb agx are a good combo plus they are adjustable.
next get a viscous (if your on a budget) or aftermarket 2 way lsd by kaaz or nismo.

then get whatever you feel like your car is lacking ie stiffer rear, more power, wider wheels etc.

    good luck and be safe!
