drifting locations

after reading the replies to my last post i have one question. where r there and autocrosses or drift events close to wilmington/whiteville north carolina, i live btwn. the two. and another thing...my catalytic converter somehow busted and i cant fix it for another few days. my car is very loud, it sounds like it has a pipe on it, but i was wondering if that could cause a prob. to my engine or prevent/lose airflow? answer appreciated, thanks again.

um by busted i assume you mean a small crack or hole...it should be fine for a few days...besides the fact that its loud, its not really hurting anything on your car...alot of people take off their cats anyway. but I would definitely get it replaced anyway.

i lived in jacksonville NC and the nearest place for drift and auto cross is Charlotte i believe...there might be a place just north of raleigh...not 100% on that though...happy drifting..
