I found this car for sale and discovered it was rwd. I looked up parts for it and they were pretty cheap.

Is this a good beginner car?

well it could be but they only have about 45 hp and are basically a ghetto 510. the susp is shat and wouldnt realy be good for anything except gas mileage. 510;s are cheap and drift like a champ. also there is a good aftermarket for 510s as well.
    www.dimequarterly.com good 510 stuff

I agree. One of my favorite episodes though.

A 210 will probably drift in the wet, but have a hard time in the dry without a lot of mods. I think it's leaf spring suspension in the rear if I'm not mistaken, and if that were the case, I would just get a 510 wagon because of the added aftermarket support (leaf spring in the rear too). If you like the style, I'd say go for a 510 coupe (control arm suspension all around) because it will be a lot easier in the long run to get it built for performance, but I've heard drifting it is difficult because of the small wheelbase.
