Hey guys, Im new here.
A fellow drift buddy with a S13 told me about this site. Now I know I don't have the prefered drift vehicle but it works for me, it started out as a '93 316i E36. I have replaced the 8valve motor with a 1.8lt 16valve M42 engine, I didn't want to go with the 6cyl motors 'cos they would have upset the balance of the vehicle with too much weight up front.
I have a 2.0lt high compression block waiting for installation. I changed out the std open diff to a LSD diff with the std ratio (3.46:1). 3way adjustable suspension set to HARD and a few other mods.
Drifting isn't big in South Africa but a couple of us are trying our best to get the sport recognised, we have even been banned from drifting at some race tracks. BASTARDS!!! We are doing a drift show for the press tomorrow evening to show South Africa what its about.
