    Just wanted to introduce myself, my name is j.r I live in nashville tn I just bought a 04 350z 6sp with 40k, befor that I had a 01 camaro ss 6sp but I sold the camaro because we had a baby and I needed a car with a bigger back seat so I bought a base model v6 07 charger, well now that I got money rollin back in i wanted to get me something else to have fun in so I got a 350z and now i wanna learn to drift is there anyone on her that has a z that could give me some tips and is it even possible to drift a stock z thanx.

    the 350z is a good drift car right off the show room floor. just takes practice

      Easy to drift...

      but doesent take abuse that well stock

        Ive been going to a parking lot and for practice and im getting decent, alot of guys on the 350z forum keep talking about a lsd but I can get sideways just fine without it what all mods do you think would be best or what should I look foward to breaking or messing up first

          I drive a 350Z also, the car is great for drifting stock, but there are a few things you can do to improve it when you are ready.



          A couple of the better mods I have done are the Stillen swaybars (soft front setting stiff rear) Nismo coilovers and my favorite mod, extended tie rods to give more steering angle.

          I blew my stock VLSD in the 5th event I entered and bought a Nismo 1.5 way diff which really made the car a better drifter.
