Need help in choosing a starting car

hi, ive just turned 16 and ive always wanted a FD civic hatchback, but after reading the forms, people say that FD cars aren't a good car to start out with. i really want to get into drifting i want to know what a good car to start out with. people have been saying on the forms that mustangs are good cars to start with, but i dont live in the states, i live in asia where cheves arent that popular.

yea, rear wheel drive, and btw- Mustangs are Ford, not Chevy.

If you live in Asia you should start off with a sylavia in the u.s. it is a 240sx. I got one and it great.Not alot of horsepower but they are built to drift. you really don't to put alot of money into it
