Go to www.fierostore.com and look at their koni suspension. I have them on both of my fiero's. The web site also has books on setting up the car for racing. check the site www.v8archie.com

On the other hand, I've also heard that the suspension on Fiero's had a lot of problems that they supposedly fixed in 1988. Also, a mid or rear engine car likes to send the back end around a lot harder and faster than an FR, this makes it easier to start the drift, but a lot harder to control it. From what I've seen, a skilled driver can drift just about anything with some practice and tweaking, but if you're looking for a starter car a FR setup is your best bet.
it's true if your going to start drifting i would go with somthing a lil more forgiving i have a 85 fiero and when the back end go's it can spin out fast but it is fun and if thats the car you want then go for it you can make just about anything a drift car as long as u practice and dont show off lol or with a fiero mistakes get pricey and as some of my friends know bus's suck lol

    1985 fiero drifting

i can get a fiero for $995 it is a 1985 and in ok shape. I was wondering if it would be hard to drift with the mid engine layout.
