RWD, Manual transmission and cheap is what you're looking for in a car.

From what I know, the Corolla had already gone to FWD in 88. Unless someone else here knows better, I would avoid that one.

As for damage, as long as it's all cosmetic/body work, then it shouldn't be a problem. Starter cars don't need to be pretty.
