Might be drifting in the near future...

Hey guys, so I've taken an interest into drifting over awhile, just enjoy it, I don't really know why. Basically, I don't really have a car to drift with now, 93 dodge intrepid, automatic, so there's two strikes, since I haven't seen much positives on automatics or anything. At first I didn't want a stick but now I kinda regret it, and I feel like I'm missing out. I was thinking of getting a new car in the future, well... not brand new, but different from mine now. What would be you suggestions for a car that would be somewhat cheap (Under $5,000) and if something happened, it would be easy to fix. Don't use your guys' lingo unless you're able to explain, because I find myself wandering the forums clueless to what the heck a 240 is Thanks guys
