  • Can Auto Cars drift

Hi Pro Drifters of this forum,

Pls enlighten me because I am from SIngapore and seems like there are no schools or mentors to learn drifting from. Judging from your threads on braking drift, isit possilble to brake drift on a auto car? Pls enlighten. Thank u

It's possible, but you're limiting your control over the car.

and if you get auto don't get the sports auto, that won't help much.
your engine rpm will always be proportional to your speed.
the main concern is the clutch pedal, it adds a whole 'nother degree of control to your car.

but anyways, yes, you can drift with an auto.
I'm just a little concerned about rwd auto e brake drifts...
You most likely will not lock your rear wheels but...
you will probably damage your transmission if the brake is strong enough...

Some ppl say no. I say yes, but like they said, it limits your control in a sport that is all about car control.

BTW, ATL, the e-brake doesn't have to lock the wheels, it just has to jolt them enough to cause them to break traction.
