So I've been into drifting for a little over a year now, and I've never been able to find a car suitable for drifting within my price range. However, as I was looking online last night I found two cars that would work.

The first is a 1995 240sx SE for $5500. 5-Speed Manual, 138k miles, and about 100 miles away.

The other is a 1986 Corolla GTS for $2000. 5-Speed, ~190k miles, and in the same city as me.

I'm in love with both models, but I'm curious as to which one is better in the long run. Which will I probably be putting less money into to build it into a drifter? And which one is more reliable?

    240 will be easier

    corollas are more fun though

weigh it out, whether you want to do it easier/faster or more fun

That would be a possibility if I could find one around here. Usually all the ones I see are in really bad shape. Or they got a turbo. And with my insurance how it is...they wouldn't like that very much.

well good luckw ith the search but your infusrance won't know that it has a turbo because they didn't come to the USA w/ turbos, all that stuff is swapped over and the insurance company won't know about it
