I have been driving for a good 2 years now and I am just beginning to learn about cars, so bear with me please.
Never had the interest because I had been driving a crv and a van. Once I had put the crv on 2 wheels I decided that was too fast. lol.
anyways. I have a 2001 corolla now. Automatic )=. Everything stock. And it is front wheel drive. From what I have read those are all the things you do not want on a drifting car.
However, I have been "drifting" this corolla using the e-brake method. (= It's real fun. I get it going at about 30 and when I hit the e-brake I try to do the oversteer, but instead it seems to turn the car. I was doing it on wet surface road.
What is the average amount of time that regular tires should last if used for drifting?
I am a student and I'm not looking to do anything serious, but I do not want to damage my car. Any tips?
thanks in advance
