Hello,
I have an 06 (or 07, i doubt it matters which) civic. It's been raining a lot the past few days where I live, so i figured it'd be a good chance to try out getting the rear to come out using the e-brake. i've managed to slide around a bit (much thanks to the rain) but lately I've been wondering about the strain it puts on the e-brake.
I heard from a friend of mine that the e-brake uses a cable and that the cable is at risk of breaking if you sharply pull on the e-brake.
...so now i'm kinda paranoid about it breaking.
Is this a legitimate concern?
Much thanks for the help!
