    hey

    i have been lurking on the site for a while not adding anything just reading...and i have a question..ok here goes....
    what does it mean if a car is MR rather then FR(rear wheel drive..incase you didn't know what i was talking about)??
    that is my question..

    MR= Mid-engined, rear-wheel-drive; FR= front-engined, rear-wheel-drive.

      MR means that the engine is in front of the rear axle (like the MR2 and NSX). RR is the engine is behind the rear axle (like Porsche). Both being rear-wheel drive of course.

        just to add alittle more, MR cars are not really good for drifting because of where the engine is located....which created an off balance which makes your tail spin out more than usual....so if you plan on getting a MR car...be careful

          hey thanks for the info...now its all clear...i have heard that MR cars can be drifted though but its alot harder...well thanks again
