Locations for practice in my area

Ok, I live in Tacoma, Washington. I am probably gonna get a miata for myself to learn how to drift...(always been a Toyota fan and thought of the Hachi... but I needed something reliable, and most of the ones I've looked at are really old and probably need a lot of work to get really good again, but i regress) So does anyone in this area know where I can go to practice. And before you ask, I don't want anything illegal. I street raced for 2 years and never got caught or had an accident so I've quit whilst I'm ahead.

Please someone help me out cuz I'm at a loss. And all the places with a big parking lot say a resounding "NO."
