alrite i wuz talkin to my dad earlier and he brought up engine types for the RX-7 and how his brother has a 13b type engine. so wut i need to kno is what exactly is the 12A and 13B engine [like what are the differences and benefits of each engine type]

First generation, 79-85 was sold in Americanthat included two different series, FA3s (79-80) & FB3s (81-84). All were powered by the 12A engine, expcept the GSL-SE model from the mid-80's which had a fuel-injected, six-port 13B engine.
Sencond Generation, 86-92 was the FC3S; they were available with two engines: a NA, fuel-injected, six port 13B. beginning in 1987 an inject, four-port, single turbo 13b (aka Turbo II).
Third generation, 93-95 the FD3S series of Rx-7's werre powered by the twin turbo'd 13B REW engines which was rated @ 255hp and 217 lb-ft. -
