I have a 87 basic model no lsd, can I use the differential from the turbo model, or do you know any after market lsd's that are cheap. if you could supply with sites.

No, turbo versus non-turbo rear diffs are different sizes.
You can't even swap them out unless you swap out axles and driveshafts.
Most of the clutch-type LSD's are all worn by now.
Yes, you can rebuild them.
Prices for the discs are like $35 - $40 each x 8!!!

I would rather try and find a Torsen out of a Miata and use that.
It's probably the cheapest and most effective (long term) out of all your options.
Remember, any clutch-type LSD will wear out.
