    The engine it the 13b or if it has a turbo its the 13bt

    Na means natural aspiration.

    Theres natural aspiration, where its pure engine power.. or "forced induction" where something adds more air into the engine that would have been there to begin with (super chargers and turbos)

        S4 and S5 are different year FCs

        i THINK the s5 ame out in like 89, not positive on that one ...

        Some people like the s4s better, they make a little less power but theyre also lighter.

        S5s make more power- but are heaver since they have more "oprtions" included with them (power this and that moonroof etc).

        A common thing to do is get a S4 and drop in an S5 engine, best of both worlds.

            I never looked into that so to be hoenst im not possitive. Ive heard the s6 is the start of the FD, and s7 is the laters one (not offered here in america) But i dont ike to trust what ive only heard once, if you want go look for a reliable source that has the info.

                    for a turbo, it jus means it dont have a turbo on it, and the engine code is the 13b

                        S4- 86-88 (87-88 Had Turbo II and NA, 86 was only na, GTU was the best NA)

                        S5- 89-91 (Turbo and NA for all years, best NA was the GTUs, 1000 made in 89 and a confirmed 100 in 90)

                        By the way ALL japanese FC's are turbo.

                              Haha ill make this simple:

                              S4 stands for Rx7s Made from 1986 up to 1988.

                              If the rx7 was made in these years, be it NA, Turbo, Convertable- it is an S4.

                              If it was the Rx7 made from 1989 up to 1991, once again NA, Turbo, Convert, it is an S5.

                              As to the guy who got his GTU for a little over 500 bucks, that was a damn steal.
