Good job, Marshall! I was paging through my British classic car mags and saw a Vallelunga for sale and thought it'd be quite the rarity.

The other car is a 1977 Chrysler Avenger 1600 Super.

yeah grid got it on his second guess so he got it.

anyway since nobody guessed, that was engine is a laid-over V-4. I couldn't figure out what it was till my dad told me. the carbs setup like a I-4 and only two visible spark plug wires had me guessing some kind of enormous DOHC 2 cylinder. also note the weird placement in the front left corner of the engine bay. Strangest car I've ever seen, definately.
