Confusing emblem

Ok so i was riding the bus home today and just staring out the window and this GMC S10 copy pulls up next to us. I stare at it for a while and realize there is an emblem that says

3 1/2 HP
Dayton

Only it was stylized and such. The guy wasn't runnin bags or anything like that, so i dont think it meant it had a 3.5 HP air compressor or notin. Any Ideas?
