He knows about Live For Speed and doesn't want that. Also, LFS isn't a drifting game, it's a racing sim and because it so realistically simulates driving you can drift.
Kaido Battle 2 is marginally fun, except even the best-tuned cars handle like crap in the game. ie, it's very easy to spin out on corners. At least the scenery is nice. You can't even do things like put a turbo kit on an NA car or do a boost-increase on a turbo car either. You can only get "engine upgrades" and even the highest level kits still have really low power.
Well, and not having a decent car for the first 5-10 hours of gameplay no matter how much money you have doesn't help either.
Maybe I should try to play the LFS demo a bit more... I think my knowledge of driving technique has improved since I last tried it.
