  • should i buy it?

    there is this guy who is selling a trust 3 inch cat back for the s13 for 50 dollars plus 30 dollars shippiiing. he said the exhaust might be leaky or a little dented(it was never oon his car) do you think i should get it? how obnoxious is a exhaust with a leak? is there anyway to repair leaks?

    thanks alot and i kinda need to know soon,

    If you can see the exhuast before you buy it, You should check it out and see if there are any noticable holes or places with heavy rust. I'm sure there is someway to make a temporary patches in the exhuast. For 50 the exhuast could be ify. Good luck with it.

      I would be a little suspicious if hes selling it for 50 bucks and and its "a little leaky". Little leaks can eventually turn into big ones. If possible, definitely take a good look at it before you buy it, because a leaky exhaust can sound pretty crappy. If it has any little holes with rust then don't waste your money. I remember when the resignator on my car had a little crack on it with rust, and in a matter of days if became a hole the size of a quarter, and it sounded like my exhaust had fallen off. I hope it works out for ya, man.

        thanks for the help guys, i ended up not getting it. it was on ebay from jarco, the place that sells sr's and etc. i thought it would be cool to save 200 bucks but i decided i dont want to cut any corners.

          Sounds like you took the best idea, I he thought there might be some leaks, then he probably knew there was.

              Yeah you maybe should have got it but I sorta think you took the right path, But it definantly was not a bad price at all.
