350z tire troubles...fix?

okay so the new 35th anniversary 350z edition just came out. I was wondering if Nissan ever fixed the 350z "tire feathering" problem? I heard that Nissan is just looking the other way when customers start asking questions...

anyone got any news on this?

i think they give you free front tires or something.
