Daily Driver - 1989 Pontiac Firebird w/2.8L V6 and automatic transmission.

mod list
- rusted out tailpipe
- blown shocks, front and rear
- bald Penske tires
- disconnected handbrake (cable rusted)

Total cost - free because the previous owner didn't want it fixed, and I had already done about $2500 worth of work to his Park Avenue at the shop where I work.

Project Drifter - 1970 MGB GT

mod list
- engine bored .030 over (1800cc to 1950cc)
- block decked, thinner copper head gasket installed, and head shaved to raise compression ratio (stock compression 10.5/1, current compression 11/1)
- Weber 32/36DGV two barrel carburetor and intake manifold
- ANSA four into two into one header & stainless steel exhaust
- hot Lucas coil
- ports cleaned and polished at same time as head shaving

Don't let the engine list fool you. Through all that, the engine is only making about 150hp at the crank. Up from 110hp, though, and stock weight is only 2,190lbs.

Mods: OMP springs, iPd sways (25mm), adjustable torque rods w/poly bushings, AEM cone mounted to MAF sensor, turbo clutch, removed the AC and PS, now the car feels like a 60's sports car. Stripped.
