New magazine!! Free subscriptions! input needed

DEFINE THE NEW DRIVING SPORTS MAGAZINE

In addition to the already successful Subaru-specific automotive publication
(Subiesport Magazine, available at most booksellers), Midnight Café Media is
in the process of launching a new "micro-sized" general-interest motorsport
publication called Driving Sports Magazine.

This is the fun part: we're starting out like it's the late 90s all over
again, by giving away free subscriptions good through the end of the year
(~5 issues). Not only that, when you fill out for a free subscription,
you'll also control the fate of the magazine by not only telling us about
you, but also about what you want to see in a motorsport magazine. If we get
5,000 votes for "Hot Girls" then, yes, we'll deliver a
Maxim-meets-motorsports publication. Do 80% of you own drift? Then, yes,
there'll be plenty of drifting action and we'll feature more tech along
those lines. Of course, if there are more votes for "new products" or "new
cars" we'll also follow suit.

This is for real, right? If it is I"ll be more than happy to give my input and get some free sht. I may even be inclined to to pay for it later down the road if it's good. But if I get a bill in the mail after recieving my 5 'free' issues I'll be a littled pissed. I simply can't afford that. So if you would, please verify this.
(Also, if you plan on selling out my personal info, don't. I don't think that would be in your best interest.)

Hahaha, dude, have you even seen the amount of domestic magazines on the shelf? They outnumber the import mags 4 to 1.


Anyhoo, I'll see about signing up for this magazine thing. Sounds cool. **Edit: Dammit! It's only for the States! Any way to make it applicable for Canadians too?

I'm sure it has to do with the customs and mail crap. Convince your government not to hassle us Americans when we ship you stuff, and i'm sure this offer would apply just fine!!

If anyone has specific questions, I can answer them. We're serious about getting feedback--we want this to be *your* magazine. Not just something conceived by a bunch of marketing-types who have never even looked under their hood, except to perhaps check that the engine is still there.
