when the real thing is not an option i have this to drift with

ima keep it rwd and say i disabled the awd

It'd be cool to build one for drit and get a video of it drifting an entire track. I always had R/C's that gripped really hard, none of them would drift. I need to get an XMOD and build it up. That'd be cool. I'd try awd but I'd most likely want to go w/ rwd.

Simple and easiest way to drift your RC cars of any level is to buy PVC pipe and cut them up and use them as the tires. They drift like a champ!

That link I had posted, it's somewhere on the boards, is of a guy drifting his. he drifts figure 8's continuously and does them quite well so it can be done.

X-mods are okay for "playing" around with. If you want to take it up a notch, you might as well pick up a micro RS4. 3/4" union pvc pipes work fine, but I found electrical tape to be more accurate for most surfaces. Here are a few videos of micro Rs4's drifting.

The micro rs4 kit costs 99 bucks. You'll have to buy extra components like the transmitter/reciever, speed controller, batteries, There are so many mods you can do to these cars. They're not toys like the radio shack stuff, so there is a wide variety of upgrades available. There is also a ready to run kit which is factory assembled, it's 200 bucks.
