these are just some parts i had in mind for a while.
If I had fifty thousand dollars to blow, I would get a stripped out first generation 911. With lighened engine parts and a free flow intake and exhaust system, seam wielded frame, roll cage and I would still have twenty thousand dollars left over to travel to France, the swiss alps, and stelvio pass to drive it and have fun.
Edit:Then again, I can always buy the Arial Atom and have fun with that. But going on a gran touring trip through Europe on something that doesn't have a roof nor a boot to keep my stuff, not such a good idea.
Okay, fine, what would you say to a Gemballa Avalanche? With 800 bhp and nearly 800 wheel horse power, because the Carrera chassis distrubutes horse power so efficiently. The interior is stripped out but is still comfortable enough to go on a gran touring trip. You will need to be very talented to be able to drive that car at even half of it's potential.
I would be fine using as little money as possible.
i would have a 240sx with a 280z front end.
I'd upgrade and tune the suspension.
drop in a sr20de. (not turbo. i like the smoothness of the na)
get a good lsd.
some good wheels and tires.
exhaust.
I'd tune the sr20 for close to 300hp. that's more than i'll probably ever need.
upgrade the clutch, drive shaft, motor mounts.
relocate the battery to the trunk, and do other weight reducing and balancing things.
put in a racing seat or 2 with a cage and 4point harness.
pretty much your average good, but not superpowered drift car.
I like them like that, and that's all i want.
Why coilovers? Separate springs and shocks are better.
How about a smart roadster shell with a stiffening roll cage, stiff springs and the engine and trans-axle from a GT3 RS. 415 brake horse power revving up to 8.4k, and would only weight half a ton. Now THAT'S a touge monster.

How so? The only advantage to coilover shocks is the adjustable hight, but coilover shocks wear out faster. Springs and shocks have much better quality all around.

*smh*
you sound retarded... like you dont know anything about motorsports period

Well, I've never heard of a strut capable of as much as 32-way adjustable dampening.... Spring and shocks are just good if you want a decent daily driver with very limited adjustability.
I'm of course talking about a TOUGE monster...not something I'd be taking to a Mcdonalds or Dunkin Donuts...
