Car Stolen in Los Feliz in the LA area

Help keep an eye out for this guys car.

It is a 73' VW Beetle and has a deep personal value to the owner.

The owner is Jason Torchinsky and is a article writer for Jalopnik.

You know if it was you or someone you know, you would want to get the word out everywhere too.

Wait a second... So this car - that's supposedly his most prized possession - he parks in the street at the end of his driveway with 2 flat tires? Come again? My favorite car that's been broken down for 6 years parks at the top of my driveway or my garage and the car I'm driving parks in the street or at the end of the driveway. Sounds like this guy needs to reorder his priorities.

And I keep the tires inflated no matter how cold or snowy it is. No excuse for SoCal.

Car has been found! Most of it anyways.

Missing engine and roof rack, but the car is returned.

Funny thing is that the thieves pulled the engine wit the fluids in it. It must have been set on the tailgate of a truck because their is a trail of fuel leading from the Beetle to the area the suspect is located.
