Well, for safety sake, make sure you get one with an airbag. That was the only thing that saved my life in the pic above. And a prelude isnt that much different size wise from a celica.

I was talking about a 16yo girl who is just starting to drive.
The early 90's preludes are great cars and still look good. The H22 is a nice motor.

the h22 came stock? i dont know my hondas that well, but im pretty sure the h22 doesnt come stock in an early 90's prelude.

but i agree with getting her a pos car to learn in and make her own style. cuz everyone beats the hell outta their first car.

I think the H22s were only in the V-Tech trim, but I could be wrong.

Hmmm I found a 92 240sx for $1300, needs a new clutch, so thas another 200, and I can do the work myself... or better yet, make her do the work just show her how. Then again I'm sure she'd rather have a running car... but what better way to love you car then to work on it! "blood, sweat, and tears."

dude i can't really get where ur coming from but to give a first car to learner is like something u gotta think about, even if they wanna learn to drift u can still learn the basics in a FWD and giving a turbo car as a first car is not a good idea as u should kno cos of ur 300ZX some around 3000 rpm the car changes turbo kicks in. Remeber no car is a slow car with L and P platers if it goes ova 100 kph it dangersous (which just about anycar can do). 98 camry with the 5sfe engine my mate were able to to some damage with those being dumb as u usally do (u wanna push it to its limits ect). and i can relate to that i built a big block 429 cobra jet V8 with my family and droped into a XY and shat myself. S13 turbo bad idea and theres more than just getting a good car like the size of the person and can she see out of the car with ease (Blind spots, is the boot, doors to high?)...ect heres wat i'd say-

-92 toyota camry these are powerful enough (96 camrys onward have high boots)
-mitsu lancer 4 door sedans good all rounders
                      -volvos safe

but if u really want to get her a import-

-S13 non turbo but these like get side ways and have some traps for new drivers

                      or

-R32 GTs four door or coupe with RB20DE engine (non-turbo)

and take her paddok bashing it builds up conifdence and good partise for drifting and doing burnouts and a defenise driver course is a good idea too

That Supra thing sounded kinda good =P

And it's not too heavy, it's just heavy.

Oldie but goodies are always good. And I think I seen someone say an S2000? For a 16 year old girl? Who may get intrested in drift? I suppose she'd be safe when she crashs.
