You could just take it apart and ship it over in pieces and then rebuild it back in Denton or Witchita Falls or whereever you live and register it as a kit car or something. But then again that takes alot of time to do.

That is also against the law on so many levels. Parts imported that do not meet standard must be imported as 'Off-Road Use Only', and may never be used on a public roadway. Yes, that means that ALL SR20DET's are illegal, but that's harder to enforce than somebody driving a skyline around.

With that, I agree with you.

There are several ways to get cars on the road 'Illegally', this a will admit. To each their own. Basically, it boils down to this: If you want a Skyline, you need to buy a Motorex car. If you want any other 'JDM' car that is less than 25 years old, there is no legal way to do it.

Look at the Skylines Motorex imports, they handle all the importation and legalization. Of course, if you have to ask how expensive it is, you probably can't afford it. If I remember correctly, you will be looking at around at least $50k for the car alone. try checking out the bumper reinforcement It strengthens the core of the bumper cover, making it tough to take the blow of every low to moderate collision.
